GABOTRIX
GABOTRIX is the trading name of OPENMARKT S.A.S., a software company based in Manizales, Caldas, Colombia. We build platforms with AI built into them for other companies, and we develop a product of our own.
To innovate with AI, connecting software, hardware and people.
That is the company mission, and the word holding it up is “connecting”. What we do is not bolting a language model onto a system that already existed: it is getting the software, the machines and the people who work with them to finally understand one another.
There is a distinction we care about and almost nobody makes: we don’t build with AI, we build platforms that integrate AI. The first describes how the code was written, which changes nothing for the client. The second describes what they receive: a system that, once delivered, assists, recommends, generates, analyses and automates on its own.
Three ways of working, one trade.
Software built for one specific company and for how it actually works, with the intelligence inside rather than bolted on. This is most of what we do.
Our own product: the no-code platform where a business builds its agent, connects it to its systems and puts it to work on the web and on WhatsApp.
Sessions for teams who are going to live alongside these tools and need to know what to expect from them, what not to, and where the risks are.
Fixed scope or continuous evolution. Never by the hour.
There are two ways to hire us: by project with a fixed scope, or on a monthly evolution fee for platforms that are already live and still growing.
What we don’t do is bill by the hour, and that is not an administrative detail. Billing by the hour rewards taking longer, and puts the client watching the clock instead of the result. With a fixed scope, the risk that something takes more work than expected is ours, not theirs.
- Everything comes in through official channels. Nothing is requested verbally or by private chat, because what isn’t written down can’t be honoured.
- Every request is logged in an ITSM platform: who asked for what, when, and where it stands.
- Incidents are classified on a P1–P4 priority matrix, and that classification — not who shouts loudest — decides the order they get attended in.
Four categories, each with its own commitment.
Before anything starts, each piece of work goes into one of these four boxes. That way the deadline is known on day one instead of being negotiated once we are already late.
Express
A small, contained adjustment — the kind that doesn’t change how anything works.
Daily
A change that is understood and resolved within the same day.
Short
Something that touches several pieces and needs checking before it can be called done.
The details, for whoever needs them.
